These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Amara website and the purchase of products from us. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who We Are
Amara is a UK-based bridal accessories and veil brand, operated by sole trader Hannah Hennessy.

2. Orders
All orders placed on the website are subject to acceptance by Amara. We reserve the right to:
Refuse or cancel any order for any reason
Correct errors in pricing or product information
You will receive an order confirmation via email; this does not constitute acceptance of your order. Acceptance occurs when your item is dispatched.
3. Made-to-Order & Custom Items
Certain products are made-to-order or purchased specially for you. For these items:
Orders cannot be cancelled or amended once production begins
Items are non-refundable
Delivery times are estimates; please order well in advance of your wedding or event
Made-to-order items are exempt from the 14-day cancellation period under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
4. Pricing & Payment
All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include UK VAT where applicable.
Payment is accepted via the checkout payment methods provided. Payment must be received in full before an order is dispatched.
Amara is not responsible for any fees, charges, or currency conversion costs imposed by your payment provider.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping times depend on whether an item is in stock or needs to be ordered from a supplier:
In-stock items: typically dispatched within 3–5 working days
Made-to-order or supplier-ordered items: some pieces are purchased once the sale is made. If sourced internationally, please allow up to 3 weeks for delivery, unless otherwise stated on the product page
It is your responsibility to provide the correct shipping address. Amara cannot be held responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, or circumstances outside our control.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees that may apply in their country.
6. Returns & Faulty Items
Made-to-order items are non-refundable.
In-stock items may be returned within 14 days of delivery if unworn, unused, and in their original packaging. Returns must be approved before sending.
Any damages or faults must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
Amara cannot accept liability for items reported damaged after this period.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including images, branding, text, and design, is the property of Amara and may not be copied or used without our permission.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amara is not liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses
Loss of income, revenue, or profits
Personal injury or loss not caused by our negligence
Our total liability for defective products is limited to the purchase price paid.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
10. Changes to Terms
Amara reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page. By continuing to use the website or place an order, you accept the revised Terms.
